ORDINO The villages that make up the parish of Ordino are: Sornàs, Ansalonga, La Cortinada, Llorts, El Serrat, Segudet and Ordino. The main activities are animal husbandry and agriculture, as well as skiing at Ordino-Arcalís. The neat, meticulous reconstructions of its "bordes" are noteworthy with their strict adherence to building style. The National Auditorium, a modern building, is a splendid example of Ordino's musical tradition. Other noteworthy spots are the Areny-Plandolit museum-house, the parish church with the 12th-century carving of the Virgin, and at La Cortinada the Romanesque church of Sant Martí, which contains some interesting frescoes.
