SANT JULIÀ DE LÒRIA The traveller arriving over the border from Spain makes contact with the Principality through this parish formed by the villages of Sant Julià de Lòria, Bixessarri, Aixàs, Aixovall, Certers, Llumeneres, Nagol, Aixirivall, Aubinyà, Juberri and Fontaneda. Nature lovers will not want to miss a visit to the forests of La Peguera and La Rabassa, where the cross-country ski slopes are located. A visit to the sanctuary of Our Lady of Canòlich is also a visit not to be missed. Throughout history this parish has been the centre of the tobacco industry. It has been careful to preserve its numerous folk traditions, one of the most notable being the dance called "La Marratxa" staged at the local fair.
