Ordino

PEAK OF CASSAMANYA DEPARTURE POINT:
Coll d'Ordino.
PATH TO FOLLOW: GR11 7A.
GRADIENT: 800 m.
TIME: 3 h.
DIFFICULTY: Medium.
INTEREST: One of the best llokout points in Andorra. On a clear day you can see the Pica d'Estats, Catalunya's highest peak, to the west and the Cadí range to the south.

TRISTAINA LAKES DEPARTURE POINT:
Coma del Forat (ski runs Ordino-Arcalís).
PATH TO FOLLOW: GR11 3A
GRADIENT: 300 m.
TIME: 20 min. as far as the first lake, 2.30h to all takes.
DIFFICULTY:
Easy.
INTEREST: Panoramic view over magnificient glacial landscapes. The circuit around the three lakes is worthwhile.

 

PEAK OF SERRERA DEPARTURE POINT: Collada del Meners.
PATH TO FOLLOW: GR11 8A
GRADIENT: 200 m.
TIME: 1 h.
DIFFICULTY: Medium.
INTEREST: This is the one of the six highest peaks in Andorra. On clear days one can see ÇToulouse ans all the peaks of Andorra.

COLL D'ORDINO - COLLADA DE BEIXALÍS - ORDINO
On the Coll d'Ordino road, take the GR11-7A toward the Bony de les Neres. You will cross this esplanade and shortly after begin the descent, where you will find a difficult section of about 150 meters (it is recommended that you walk your bicycle down). Follow the path until the intersection of the Collada de Beixalís. Turn right, following the road for 2 kilometres. Continuing to the right you will reach the Giberga appartaments, where you will turn right towards La Gornada. Cross the Coll d'Ordino road and take the Segudet path to Ordino.
DIFFICULTY: Very difficult.
